About the event
Session 1: Boundaries led by Kathryn Parkin
This session looks at professional boundaries in osteopathic practice, focusing mainly on key ideas from a recent literature review. We’ll explore how boundaries are understood in healthcare, where challenges tend to arise, and why they can sometimes feel complex in day-to-day practice. Alongside this, we’ll work through a series of short clinical vignettes to encourage discussion and reflection, helping to connect the theory to real-life situations and think about practical ways to manage boundaries in the clinic.
Communication, consent and shared decision making
