About the event
This day is to review the latest research around orthapaedics and review our management of different long term conditions.
The first half of the day we will be joined by Andrew MacMillan who will cover, practical and theoretical considerations related to swollen joints and potential common rheumatological presentations. The main focus will be on recognition, examination and referral and will cover the interpretation of common medical testing, differential diagnosis and osteopathic contributions to the management of people with known rheumatological diagnosis
The second half we will be joined by Emily Clarke who will be going through improving delays to diagnosis of Spondyloarthritis: recognition and referral of suspected axial and peripheral spondyloarthritis, and NICE recommendations on treatments.
